One of South Africa's best voices, Theuns Jordaan at Emperors Palace
09 July 2010
Music lovers get ready! Theuns Jordaan met Orkes returns to Gauteng’s ultimate entertainment resort, Emperors Palace to perform in the Theatre of Marcellus for two electrifying performances on 17 and 18 September. Jordaan is known as one of the biggest voices to come out of South Africa and will entertain the audiences with hit songs Soos Bloed, Hakieshart, Jou Asem and more. From slow ballads and love songs to foot-stomping tunes, one thing is certain – this show is going to be a definite crowd pleasing performance!
With four albums and sales exceeding 500 000, Jordaan is not only an excellent singer but has also proven that he is a songwriter to be reckoned with. The musicians that perform with him are the cream of the crop; amongst them are top guitarists Anton L'Amour, Ricus Nel and Jasper van Rensburg who have performed with the biggest names in South African music. With Brendan Ross on keyboard and saxophone, and Bruce Wallace on drums, this band offers their audience a night of quality entertainment.
Audiences will be treated to a range of songs when Jordaan brings the music of icons like Johannes Kerkorrel, Koos du Plessis and Koos Kombuis to life; and if it wasn't for Jordaan, most South Africans would never have known how to jol on Loslappie!
Ticket prices start from R100 per person and can be bought through the Emperors Palace Box Office on 011 928 1297 or through Computicket on 083 915 8000 or www.computicket.com.
