Emperors Palace proudly presents the leading Indian female playback singer and melody queen, Shreya Ghoshal, live in concert for one night only on 24 April 2011 at the spectacular Centre Court.
Ghoshal's career began when her voice mesmerized viewers on the hit Indian TV show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, which lead her to win the nationwide contest. Her Bollywood playback singing career started with the hit movie, Devdas, for which she received both the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer and the Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent.
This talented singer soon became one of the most sought after playback singers in Bollywood and has worked on more than 180 films, receiving numerous awards along the way, including four IIFA awards and seven Filmfare Awards. She has performed all over the world, captivating audiences with her charming personality, ability to connect with the audience and above all, her musical prowess.
The audience can enjoy their favourite tunes like Tere mast mast do nain from the hit movie Dabanng; Shukran Allah from Kurbaan; Teri ore from Singh is king, Zoobi doobi from Three Idiots and many more popular favourites. Joining Ghoshal on stage is her male vocalist and singer, Shivprasad Mallya and South Africa's very own Bushan Dass.
