Get an adrenalin rush at the ACSA Emperors Palace Classic this February

Grab a bicycle, build up a sweat and join more than 5 000 cyclists at the ACSA Emperors Palace Classic on 4 and 5 February. Presented by Emperors Palace and Cycling News in partnership with the Airports Company of South Africa, Ekurhuleni Metro Police, Edenvale Pedallers, ASG Sport and passionate local cycling shop Sweat and Gears, this annual event should not be missed!
Now in its fifth year and with more than R50 000 up for grabs, the event kicks-off on Saturday, 4 February at 08h00 with the Mountain Bike Classic offering two mildly testing courses of 20km and 40km. The majority of the route runs parallel to the runway on the OR Tambo International Airport grounds.
On Sunday, 5 February, the Road Race Classic commences at 06h00 and provides a 50km or 99km distance race offering flat and fast options suitable for all cyclists. The ever popular Kids Classic, for children aged between 2 - 4 years and 5 – 8 years, also starts on Sunday at 10h00 and the entry fee is R30 per child. Ending off a weekend of superhot cycling action is the “by invitation only” action packed Circuit Spectacular at 11h00.
Entry fees for the Mountain Bike Classic are R100 (20km) and R150 (40km), and for the Classic Road Race are R130 (50km) and R200 (99km).
