Sizzling entertainment at Emperors Palace this April and May

Keep the entire family entertained over the next two months at Emperors Palace where a plethora of entertainment awaits. From comedy shows and international artists, to CD launches and music festivals – there’s only one place to be!

South African music sensation, Jamali will launch their latest album Toxic Candy at the Theatre of Marcellus on 31 March. The album is a combination of seductively sweet love ballads and a darker side with edgy dance and electronic anthems. The launch is set to be a musical extravaganza showcasing Jamali's latest songs, dance routines and cutting edge high fashion style. Tickets are R100 per person.

The 17-year old musical project, David's Confession is back by popular demand in the Theatre of Marcellus. The show is the brainchild of respected songwriter, vocalist and guitarist Mel Botes and original drummer and vocalist Philip Botha, a.k.a Ghapi is part of this creative and emotional production. The show will be performed from 13 to 17 April and tickets are R150 per person. 

Bollywood playback singer Shreya Goshal will perform live in the Centre Court on 24 April for one show only. The talented artist has performed various songs in Bollywood movies and is bringing them to South Africa. This show is a must see and tickets start from R160 per person.

Performing for the first time in South Africa, the China Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe brings a unique performance, aptly entitled My Dream to the Theatre of Marcellus from 27 April to 1 May. The performance is set to showcase their exceptional talent and should not be missed. Tickets start from R95 per person. 

 Crazy Diamond - A tribute to Pink Floyd will be on stage at 64 @ The Palace from 27 April to 8 May. Performed by Mel Botes, the show will take the audience on a scintillating two hour journey, following the history of the band Pink Floyd. The electrifying multi-dimensional show will keep audiences mesmerized by the authenticity as well as the magic of the evergreen music of one of the greatest rock bands in history. Tickets are R120 per person.

Phenomenal singer Ringo Madlingozi will perform a Tribute to Africa's Mothers in the Theatre of Marcellus from 6 to 15 May (Fridays to Sundays). Ringo was born with rhythm in his heart and the show will be more than just a performance; it will take the audience on an intensely spiritual, rhythmical and healing journey that promises to be a theatrical experience like no other. Tickets are R125 per person.

International Greek superstar, Antonis Remos will perform in the Centre Court for one night only on 7 May. The gold and platinum selling artist is popular amongst the Greek community and will be performing hit songs to South African fans. Tickets start from R700 per person and bookings can be made through Africa Pacific Promotions on 011 788 7514 during office hours.

The 21st Century African Music Festival comes to the Theatre of Marcellus from 25 to 28 May. The festival is jam-packed with the hottest entertainment and includes the likes of Black Coffee, Liquideep, Big Nuz and Professor, to name a few. Tickets are R120 per person and meal packages are available.
